The Marin Pirates Swim Team finished in first place in the 37thAnnual Washington Open held January 17-20 in Federal Way. The Pirates’ 34 teenage swimmers finished with 942 points over Denver Swim Academy (748 points), Boise YMCA (622 points), King Aquatics-Seattle (522 points) and California Capital Aquatics-Sacramento (492 points).
Highlights included the following:
Riley Scott 1st100 yard breast 1:02.69; 1st200 yard breast 2:16.61
New qualifiers for Junior Nationals in Orlando March 12-16:
